How To Promote Cheaper Than Adwords?

Ok, I"ve already told you about my new money-making program that I"m using these days. Many people read the post and e-mailed me with their queries.
I am going to answer your most common query: How to promote Affiliate Junktion when ppc costs have gone so high on Adwords?

Well, the answer is BidVertiser.

Promote your Website with BidVertiser. Get $20 in FREE clicks.

It"s been a long-kept secret that Bidvertiser is better converting and cheaper than other programs. The best part being it gives you $20 in free clicks for getting you started with your campaign. Just join for free and use that $20 to earn almost four times on Affiliate Junktion. Then invest about half of that again in Bidvertiser... and you have a nice stream of income!

The average cpc is Rs.3-4 as against Rs.10-20 on Adwords.

This is the most effective way to advertise pay-per-lead programs on targeted websites (you can choose the categories).

Join Affiliate Junktion and advertise on Bidvertiser and build up your initial profit before going on to Adwords and yahoo.

Promote your Website with BidVertiser. Get $20 in FREE clicks.

Hope, that was helpful.
Mail me on redbow@rediffmail.com for any queries.

Thanks

one reminder

hi everyone,

refering to the previous post... i want to tell you that ive earned $470 from the affiliate program mentioned!!
you too can earn much more, by just following the instructions.

one thing i just came to know is... for being eligible to earn as a webmaster, you have to be "active", which means you have to refer 2 or more people to the program, which you know is again free!!

so... happy earning!

My recommended money makers

Many people have been waiting for this post. My earlier posts were all introductory to all the techniques used by successful bloggers… but in this post ill tell you about advertising programs, selected from thousands on internet, which are proven and really make you some serious money. Read on…

Google AdSense- the big daddy of internet advertising

Its one thing which single-handedly recovered internet from dot com crash days.

This is pretty much a must have if you want to make money from a blog. Google display simple text and image ads on your blog that are targeted to what you’re writing about. Google has been a consistent money maker for millions of blogs. This program is so special that i dedicated considerable time just to research adsense in detail. It includes many tips and tricks you may not be knowing. I've set up a blogger page for all of you. Do check out to maximize your adsense earnings.

Access my full research

Bidvertiser

Bidvertiser, a CPC ad network that competes with Google AdSense. It main advantage over AdSense is its low $10 payout. You only need to make $10 in order to be paid. Big publishers wouldn’t care about this but for many small blogs that are still waiting to hit that magic $100 Google payout level, getting pay at a lower level is quite attractive.

sign up

AuctionAds

AuctionAds is one big eBay affiliate. What AuctionAds does is put all their publishers into one big “collective” to go after the higher revenue share. Publishers can leverage AuctionAds’ creative delivery of eBay’s auctions and AuctionAds’ ability to achieve the higher performance incentive tiers with the aggregate volume of traffic to make more money than they could with their own eBay affiliate relationship. Right now, affiliates will get 100% of any money they make from the system. As the collective moves up the eBay revenue share tiers, AuctionAds will start to take a cut of revenues. The goal is for you to make more with AuctionAds than directly with eBay’s affiliate program, which will be the case as the network increases its volume.

AuctionAds

ReviewMe

Write reviews for cash!

ReviewMe allows advertisers to buy sponsored reviews on your blog. Review prices are based on your blog’s Alexa, Technorati and estimated RSS numbers. Publishers can set their own pricing if they don’t like the price ReviewMe set. Reviews can be positive or negative. The only requirement is the post must be at least 200 words long.

Sign up for ReviewMe

FeedBurner Ad Network

FeedBurner provides CPM ads for both site and RSS feeds. The CPM rate can be get as high as $10 and publishers get 70% of the money. However, the fill rate is pretty low. If you’re looking to monetize your RSS feed, then FeedBurner is probably the best of the RSS ad networks. To join the FeedBurner Ad Network, you must first have FeedBurner power your RSS feed.

Sign up for Feedburner

I guess this is sufficient for the day… for rest of the list, see you tomorrow!

If you’re any problems understanding or signing up these programs… feel free to mail me.

Link baiting- advanced linking technique

By now everyone should know that getting linked from other sites and blogs is the key to getting indexed by Google and other search engines. People get links in many ways, from simple link exchanges to comment spamming. What I want to talk about is something called link baiting.

Link baiting looks at linking as a fishing expedition. In order to catch a fish, you need bait. In the case of site development, the fishes are other websites or blogs and the bait is your content. Well, let me restate that. The bait is not just any old content you have laying around – it’s content specially designed to get you linked up by the websites you’re fishing for. Let’s look at a few ways to bait some links.

Ask For A Review

This is a common technique used at webmaster forums. You ask the members in the forum to review your site and provide feedback on how to improve it. While there are many legit review requests, the vast majority of them are nothing more than link baits. Many times, the baiter will purposefully make their site look bad and wait for the recommendations to come in. Then he would do the recommendations; make another post asking, “What do you guys think now?” Double link score! Next time you read a review request at a webmaster forum, try to guest if it’s real or bait.

Write About The Site You Wish To Bait

One of the best ways to get a link from another site to write about them. Site owners like to have their ego’s stroked just like normal people. If you write something nice about another site, chances are they will link to what you wrote.

A good way to attract attention is to blog on a controversial topic and express a strong opinion toward it. People will automatically 1- Comment on it, 2- Link to it.

Another way is to write about something that no one has really tried before, or do it in an all new way. A guy received over 100k unique links in a short period of time because of this post- dead hard drive in a freezer!!

Check out for yourselves to get a clear idea or you can always ask me!

Careful linking

Linking is a nice way to build targeted traffic to your site. The more the number of sites linked to you… the more are you worth in blogosphere. It’s a general rule and everyone follows it, may it be Technorati or Google.

In all means, linking is the fastest and simplest means of getting higher page rank(PR) on Google search pages.

But there are certain things you need to know about effective linking-

  • Never link with a site that is not in the same category as you.

  • Never use a link farm (unless you want to be de-indexed)

  • Maintain a link page and try to increase its PR by linking to it from every page of your site.

  • Don’t forget internal linking.

  • Link with sites that are at your Page Rank or above

When dealing with sites that are below your PR, you have a few options. You can say no, which isn’t the best choice in the long run since it’s possible that the site may get huge one day and you will lose out. You can just go ahead and exchange links but you may take a hit from Google by linking to a lower PR site.

The last choice is to do what intelligent bloggers do – offer a link in your links page in exchange for a link on every page of the partner site. The end result would be they get a link on a higher PR page from a lower PR site and you get linked on every single page they have. Normally the link is placed in their footer, but some will put you in their menus. The lower PR of the partner site is offset by the number of links you get back. In the beginning, you may still take a hit but as the other site adds more pages, you get more incoming links. If the site keeps developing, you will come out ahead in the long run.

Happy linking!!

2.
Social bookmarking: it’s a new concept on web. It’s the best gift web 2.0 has to offer and its really rowing. There are many sites which aggregate good posts/blogs submitted to them by usual surfers like us. People surf the blogosphere and submit what they like on sites like Technorati, digg, reddit, bloglines, del.icio.us.

The more a blog or post gats marked on these sites… the more is their authority on net. This drives their overall ranking on net and their Google page rank. And you can imagine the amount of traffic a weblog gets which climbs to the first search page of Google!

I will be covering this topic in detail in coming days.

3.    Pinging- whenever a blogger writes a new post, he/she needs to ping it… that means he/she needs to inform blog directories that his/her blog has been updated, so that they can update their databases. You can find a good free pinging tool at pingomatic.com

4.      link building- this technique is based on the fact that no blogger can live without the help of other bloggers. It’s a known fact and any person who seriously blogs, knows that. Linking to other bloggers can get your blog a share of very targeted traffic, helpful to the overall growth and monetization of your blog.

The key here is that you should link your blog to only those blogs which share the same interests that you do. Random linking produces un-targeted traffic that should be avoidable.

I could continue to list many more easy techniques for you to implement, but let’s face it, you probably know most of them already and haven’t spent concentrated time implementing any of the techniques often enough to get significant results.

I don’t want to overload you with ideas, I want you to go out and implement the above techniques and do them often enough to experience real rewards. This is about concentrated effort. Spending your time working a few techniques repeatedly will reward you with better results than doing every technique you can think of just once.

• Go out every day and leave comments on complimentary blogs

• Contribute to 1-3 top forums every day – post full-sized articles if you can

• Every time you write a new blog article trackback other blogs

• Submit your best stuff to blog carnivals REGULARLY – not just once

During the first six month’s of my research life, I did nothing but write good content and focus on the above basic marketing techniques. I did at least one of these techniques every single day of my blog’s early life.

You can substitute these techniques for any other ideas you have – blog link exchanges, content exchanges, writing guest articles for other bloggers, MySpace.com marketing, BlogCatalog.com or MyBlogLog.com marketing, social media marketing or article marketing – the important thing is to do something often enough to get results.

Top bloggers don’t concentrate on any of the above techniques anymore, but they have the luxury of an established audience who help them spread the word each time they write an article. You don’t - yet - but you can and will build up to enjoy the same benefits.

Check out for some evil, fast-result oriented techniques specially for beginners, tomorrow..

How to get more traffic?

Since traffic is the single most driving force of your blog… what beginners really need to do to get more people visiting their blogs??

1.      Blog carnivals –

What is a blog carnival?
That’s a great question, for many people don’t know the answer! To tell you the truth, I’ve known about blog carnivals for a couple of months. I definitely don’t consider myself an expert in this field, but blogging is a learning process, and I intend to do a lot of learning and helping others learn too.

Anyway, to answer the question, a blog carnival is not an actual carnival with lions, elephants, acrobats, and clowns. It is actually a type of blogging event. Blog carnivals are published on a regular basis, and a lot of the time each edition is hosted on a different blog (but not always). The publishing can be weekly, monthly, the first Saturday each month, or just anytime the creator wants to.

Why should I enter a blog carnival?

When you submit one of your posts/articles to a carnival, it will most likely be featured in the carnival’s next edition. This way you will not only get a link, but a lot of exposure and people seeing your article! This can help your page rank, Technorati rank, traffic reach, and more. There are so many advantages, and a lot of people are already in on this secret. You should be, too!

How do I enter a blog carnival?

Just go to BlogCarnival.Com and sign up. Once you’re registered you can browse through all the carnivals and find one that looks right for you. There is a carnival topic out there for everyone, so when you enter, be sure the article you’re submitting is relevant to the carnival.

Go ahead and enter as many relevant carnivals you can to get a lot more links, exposure, and people reading your blog! After that, if you’d like to take a spin with being in charge for once, host your own carnival. It’ll be fun.

2. Comment Marketing

Yes, it’s common advice, but leaving comments on other blogs works.

When I first began blogging I had a little routine each night. Before going to bed when I was too tired to write anything lengthy, I’d leave at least ten comments on a handful of related blogs. It’s worth forming a routine like this because consistency matters!

3. Forum Marketing

Just like commenting, a few value-adding contributions to relevant forums with links back to your blog in your signature file will bring visitors to your blog. Again, the more time and energy you invest in establishing a credible profile in a forum, the more traffic you will send to your blog. Some popular forums are- www.bloggertalk.net, www.bloggertalk.com, www.bloggerforum.com...

4. Trackback Marketing

This technique isn’t nearly as good as it once was, but it still brings in a little traffic. Send trackbacks to articles on other blogs whenever feasible in your own blog writing.

All you have to do is to mention an interesting article in some other blogger’s page, in your blog and provide a link to it.

Trackbacks are placed in the comment area following a blog article and if you can be one of the first to trackback a hot post on a popular blog, some of the traffic will trickle to your blog as people look for more discussion of the hot topic.

You also get the attention of the blog author when you send trackbacks.

These are few low traffic techniques that I used to generate initial traffic on my blog. They are important for any beginner but to get those thousands of hits everyday… u need to apply some more techniques, which I’ll b discussing tomorrow...
